What rain today. I have never seen it that torrential before - really. It was pooling in the one window; I had to lift up the screen to let the water run out. The only trouble with the rain is that my basement smells musty; I bet there is black mold behind the walls. Another task to have checked out. Am going to get sun porch put in this summer and also rock garden in near patio. Should be nice.
That's it for now. Going to get sleep - Bible study, luncheon and visitation tomorrow.

One thing I did today on my walk was pray for almost everyone I know. When I do this, I usually begin with my daughters, expanding out to sisters and families, cousins and families, daughters' dad's family, pastor friends, musical friends, other friends and families, neighbors and then finally - my church members one by one as I picture where they sit in the pews on Sunday morning. It's amazing how long that can take. I don't usually pray for specific things unless I know a real need - I just picture the face of the person and "set" them in God's care. I also like to intersperse the groups of people for which I pray with Psalms I know and hymn lyrics. It is my own little worship experience while hoofing along....

This afternoon is perfect, hazy, lots of birds singing outside my office window. Down stairs the piano is singing, too - well, it's being tuned. I had a long walk [14,000+ steps] this morning so I am comfortable and relaxed to sit at computer doing site work for a while. God's in God's heaven and all's right with the world. I like this feeling.
